Indiana Organization Sets New Record of $37.5 Million in Expansion Loans to Businesses

At its annual board meeting this month, the Indiana Statewide CDC will confirm that it provided $37,517,000 along with local banks to 66 projects for the year ending September 30. Total funding for the projects reached $103,538,588. The old funding records set last year were $35,469,000 to 69 projects and total funding from all participants of $99,479,979.

NY Business Owners Get a Boost From New Micro-Loan Program
Submitted by Naomi M on Wed, 12/12/2007 - 06:00.The Small Business Administration is lending a hand to small businesses in Schuyler, Steuben and Chemung counties by providing the Regional Economic Development and Energy Corp. with $500,000 to fund the agency's new micro-loan program.
The maximum loan amount to a single applicant is $35,000, and the total budget for the project can't exceed $105,000. The interest rates will be based on the prime rate and determined when the loans are approved.
